David G. Cartwright’s motto, “Get The Job Done and Have Some Fun”™ promotes success. As a versatile student of life, he developed a winning attitude using the simple process of setting goals, taking action and reaping the rewards. Despite numerous obstacles and setbacks, he proved that you can survive and thrive in the face of adversity. He established and currently operates Go4Goals Enterprises to “Inspire Others To Excel”™ in their daily roles and achieve their goals.
At age 12, David realized the value of “Earning While You Learn” while delivering newspapers. In high school and college, he worked first as a meat cutter in a grocery store and later as a co-op student in a department store. He further honed his business and social skills as a member of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. All that paid off as he graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee at Martin’s School of Business and later earned a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
Living his “Wake Up - Step Up - Move Up”™ philosophy, David enjoyed a highly decorated military career, excelling in project and financial management across the U.S. and abroad. Among his many assignments, he negotiated contracts for the multimillion dollar rebuilding efforts in the Middle Eastern war zones. He also managed the overall budget for Joint Forces Andrews Air Force Base, (Home for Air Force One) and travel destination to the world’s dignitaries. He served as a right-hand man for the Comptroller’s hot projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton OH (Birthplace of Aviation) and its annual $27 billion budget.
Not afraid to expand his horizons, he spent three years chauffeuring world renowned business/media tycoons, actors, and musicians in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles CA. This experience provided valuable insights into the personal and professional lifestyles of the rich and famous.
David’s business savvy as an entrepreneur led him to acquire, develop, rent and sell multiple properties and businesses in Washington D.C., California, Maryland, Ohio, Florida and Tennessee for hundreds of thousands in profits. He successfully mentored others that did the same. He is also fondly known as the original owner/founder of the popular restaurant “Happy Diner” in Los Angeles.
He wrote the highly praised book, Achiever Fever: How You Can Climb The Mountain of Achievement™ One Step At A Time and later created the inspirational poster, Life Can Be Good When You Do What You Should with its panoramic view of Southern California’s Pacific Coast.
David’s decision to donate a portion of company profits and product to combat the ever increasing problem of homelessness was an easy one. Go4Goals Enterprises is poised to make a difference.
